The leaked images were initially posted at the Sina Weibo social network Web site showing the blue HTC One with the familiar body design of the silver and black colour option. The image tipster is reportedly a contract factory worker that the Taiwanese company hired to construct the smartphone parts.
The other image leaked shows the blue HTC One "found in the wild" with a random user holding the smartphone. The new HTC colour choice is expected to be offered at Verizon but the network has not made any announcement about it yet.
The HTC One was launched with the available colour choices of silver and black until the red option was officially confirmed as the third available colour choice. U.S. carrier Sprint recently confirmed that they will exclusively offer the HTC One in Ruby Red to their subscribers.
The Taiwanese company's Android flagship has a 4.7-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touch screen display with 1920x1080p resolution, a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage capacity and the power of a 2300mAh Li-polymer battery.
Additional features and specs include the 4MP UltraPixel rear-facing camera capable of low-lighting photography, 2.1MP front-facing camera for video calls, HTC's Boom Sound technology and connectivity support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, mircro-USB 2.0, HTC Connect and NFC.
HTC has officially launched as well the HTC One Mini which is a smaller and compact version of the HTC One. Another upcoming device from the company is the phablet version of the HTC One currently called the HTC One Max and the device is expected to make a grand appearance at the 2013 IFA consumer electronics trade show from September 6 to September 11 in Berlin, Germany.
