HTC paints a new colour option for the HTC One Max phablet: Amber Gold. According to the Android and Me report, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer will officially debut the gold device in Taiwan.

HTC will be offering other colours for the HTC One Max phablet aside from the silver version when the device made its official debut last October. The Mobile Bloom report reads: "It was not that long ago that HTC announced that the HTC One Max was shipping in black and red and this week it looks like there is another option for those looking to upgrade. HTC announced that it would be selling the HTC One Max in the color 'Amber Gold' which is similar to the gold paint that was seen on the HTC One."

The HTC One Max Amber Gold is currently available in 88 HTC Taiwanese stores with a price of NT$23,900 ($797 USD). Consumers can now choose from the available colour choices of gold or silver for the classy-looking phablet.

The Android Community report claims the release of the HTC One Max Amber Gold is limited to Taiwan but will be "widely available across the country."No announcement has been made yet to confirm if the new colour option for the HTC phablet will be available for a worldwide release.

HTC has confirmed the arrival of the new Amber Gold version of their One Max phablet that features a champagne tinge comparable to the HTC One. The Taiwanese company offers as well the familiar specs of the HTC One Max in the Amber Gold version of the phablet.

The HTC One Max in Amber Gold features and specs include the 5.9-inch Full HD screen display with 1920x1080p resolution, equipped with the 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, Android 4.3 operating system, HTC Sense 5.5 UI, 2GB of RAM, the power of a 3300mAh battery and comes with 16GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 64GB via the microSD card slot.
