Huawei is auctioning one of a very limited number of Mate 9 Porsche smartphones to celebrate the release of Huawei Mate 9. The auction will be held at the World Square, Sydney, and the proceeds from the event will straightaway go to the charity Tour de Cure. The limited edition smartphone combines Huawei’s mobile-engineering expertise and Porsche Design’s signature brand aesthetic. The auction starts on Feb.10, Friday, 12:30 p.m. Winners will be announced then and there is free shipping within Australia. Fans may bid for the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche at All Bids. The limited edition smartphone is currently not available for sale in Australia/ There are only three such devices that Huawei has in the country. In Europe, the smartphone carries a price tag of €1,395 (AU$1,950 approx).

The Huawei Mate 9 Porsche has a 20MP Monochrome + 12MP RGB primary camera with F2.2 with OIS and 4K video support. The selfie camera is of 8MP. It comes with an impressive 4,000 mAh battery.
As already mentioned, the proceeds from the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design Australia action will go to Tour de Cure, which is a tier 1 cancer charity. The organisation has funded over 250 cancer research, support and prevention projects. Out of these, the charity has seen 18 scientifically recognized cancer breakthroughs.
