"Hunger Games" star, Isabelle Fuhrman, is said to star in a sci-fi film "After Earth." Fuhman be joined by Will Smith and son, Jaden Smith.

For those who recognize her, the actress played the creepy Ester in the 2009 thriller "Orphan" who ends up killing the family who adopts her. She's in for another role in the highly-anticipated movie, "Hunger Games" as Clove, the tribute from District 2, whose specialty is wielding knives. Still so much like her character Ester. Isabelle will be playing alongside Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.

With the production of the "Hunger Games" already wrapped up, she's in for another project and this time with Hollywood's family duo: Jaden and Will Smith. Negotiations are still under way and director M. Night Shymalan is said to be directing.

The film, "After Earth", is a futuristic film about the earth becoming inhabited and when Will Smith crash lands on it tagging along his son; it's now up to Jaden to save them both. Originally entitled, "1000 A.E.," "After Earth" was initially penned by Stephen Gagan who is known for the film "Syriana" and writer Gary Whitta who is known for "The Book of Eli".

If the negotiations for the film go as planned, Isabelle Fuhrman will be playing Rayna, the friend of Smith's son. Apart from Fuhrman, a few actors said to be included in the cast include Sophie Okonedo from the film "Aeon Flux" and Zoe Kravitz from the film "X-Men: First Class."

Considering Director M. Night Shymalan's last film, "The Last Airbender," being a complete flop, it might take quite more than Will and Jaden Smith to bring him retribution. Though "After Earth" may seem like another sci-fi flick that is in odds with "The Avengers" and "G.I. Joe: Retaliation", it might still fall short of expectations.

Still, talks are in the works and if all goes well then "After Earths'" production will begin by March of this year at Utah and Pennsylvania. The film is set to have a release date by June of 2013.

As for fans of the charming Isabelle Fuhrman, they only have to wait until March of this year to finally see her in action as Clove in the much anticipated film adaptation of the "Hunger Games."
