In light of Independence Day for the U.S., there are a lot of gaming offers and surprises to celebrate the holiday, starting off with Grand Theft Auto 5's latest wallpaper releases.

This time, two GTA 5 widescreen wallpapers are available via Rockstar Games' official Web site.

As per Rockstar Games, the two wallpapers depict Lamar, Franklin's partner-in-crime hard at work "car shopping," and Tracey and Jimmy, who are both part of Michael's family.

"On this 4th of July, we stop in on two Los Santos residents respectively choosing to spend their leisure time indoors gaming and outdoors car 'shopping,'" said Rockstar Games.

The wallpapers are available in varying sizes that can fit desktops, backgrounds, Facebook Timelines, icons, and avatars, and Rockstar Games ends on a note that more GTA 5 artwork are bound to be released soon.

Big game sales for Amazon & Big Fish Games

Another great way to celebrate Independence Day is a massive sale. Gamezebo compiles a list of deals from various retailers, some of which offer a whopping discount and better deals.

Amazon leads the sales by bundling together three Firaxis games, XCOM, Civilization 4, and Civilization 5 and offering it for only $19.99, potentially one of their biggest sales to date.

There's also Big Fish Games, which offers a 40% discount for all the games for the occasion. Those who are Game Club Members have a bigger discount at 58 per cent for all games. The good thing here is that you can grab the deals until July 7.
