A well-known tech analyst has revealed Apple will not be releasing the previously rumoured devices for 2015 such as the iPhone 6S, the iPhone 6S Plus and the 4-inch iPhone 6C. The iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus are purported as the next smarpthones from the Cupertino company. The iPhone 7 will be a 4.7-inch device whereas the iPhone 7 Plus will be a 5.5-inch device. Then, what about the new 4-inch iPhone? Speculations indicate that it will be launched as iPhone 7C.

Citing TechNews, DigiTimes claims that Apple is working on a 4-inch iPhone 7. It further states that the Cupertino company will be entering an agreement with AU Optronics (AUO) for providing extra display panels for the upcoming iPhone.

Since other yields fluctuating, Apple is looking forward to work with other display panel providers for its existing and forthcoming iPhones. It has been found that it will be providing Apple with LTPS In-Cell display panels of varied sizes such as 4-inch, 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch. Other Taiwanese media sources claim that the displays built by AUO will be not used immediately but at in the coming year. Phone Arena claims that it hints to the fact that the iPhone 7C may arrive in 2016.

Tech Radar adds that the 4-inch iPhone 7 will be the cheapest smartphone from Apple among the current iPhones. It is rumoured to pack in the internals of iPhone 5S. According to BGR, the smaller version of iPhone will come will be powered by A8 chip or higher. Other alleged features of the device include Touch ID, NFC and Apple Pay.

As far as the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus is concerned, the International Business Times claims that both will feature premium metal construction flanked with zirconia beads that protect the device from scratches. The next generation iPhone 7 will come with Force Touch technology, iOS 9, A9 chipset, 2 GB of RAM and the most advanced camera that will be able to shoot DSLR like images.
