Platinum blonde hair rocked at Paris Fashion Week on Thursday. Close on heels of reality TV star Kim Kardashian, Jared Leto was also seen following suit. The actor who won the Academy Awards in 2013 for his supporting role in “Dallas Buyers Club” debuted his newly dyed platinum blonde hair at the Balmian ready-to-wear Fall Winter 2015-2016, Paris Fashion Week, according to Yahoo News.

The 43-year-old actor and singer disappointed his huge fan following earlier this week by chopping off his flowing locks and shaving his Biblical styled beard. This was the first time he made an appearance after his very long hair was cropped short. A peek into the new hairstyle was given by “Suicide Squad” director David Ayer. Leto’s made the transformation for his new role as The Joker.

It’s not the first time that the actor has taken the peroxide plunge. In 1999’s “Fight Club” he had gone a step further and dyed his eyebrows blonde as well along with his hair. Celebrities like Jean Harlow, Marilyn Monroe, David Bowie, rapper Eminem to Joshua Jackson and Ryan Gosling have experimented with the shade. Even sportspersons David Beckham and Dennis Rodman had gone in for the peroxide look too.

Leto’s hairstylist Chase Kusero also teased fans with a picture showing green dye on Instagram, after which the actor was photographed from behind with the The Jokers trademark green hair. But it was all in good humour as the celebrity stylist used Instagram filter or photoshop to give the green look to the actor’s hair. Kusero has deleted the photograph.

Leto sported his new Karl Lagerfeld looks with the designer label. He hit the Balmian Fall Winter 2015-2016 show at Paris Fashion Week on Thursday donning a striking blue velvet blazer paired with a white turtleneck and black skinny jeans. He posted pictures of his new Karl Lagerfeld costume on Instagram. The Balmian twins took some time off to do a photo op. Jared, Kim, Kanye West, Kris Jenner and Kendall Jenner all posed together backstage, much to the excitement of their followers.
