“Entourage” actor Jeremy Piven has joined the list of television actors rumored to replace “Two and a Half Men” frontman, Charlie Sheen who was officially fired by Warner Bros last March 7.

An unidentified source told RadarOnline.com that Piven’s name has been mentioned repeatedly to possibly fill in for Charlie’s shoes.

“Jeremy is a great actor and a hot commodity, his name has come up a couple of times in talks about who, if anybody, could step into Charlie’s shoes,” the source was quoted as telling RadarOnline.com.

Piven’s camp however, has denied the reports to be the next Charlie Harper.

The "Entourage" actor’s rep, Stan Rosenfeld said, “No one connected in any way with Jeremy knows anything about this and that would include Jeremy.”

Piven is now the fourth actor reported to take Charlie’s place. The three other actors named to replace Sheen included Matt Dillon, Robe Lowe and John Stamos.

Dillon’s camp has remained mum since the issue came out. Lowe and Stamos on the other hand had asserted they had no plans to replace the embattled actor for “Men”.

Lowe’s producers at CBS’s rival network, NBC made the official announcement that Lowe has a multi-year contract with the network for his "Parks and Recreation" series.

Stamos on the other hand strongly stated that he will not be the next Charlie Harper, though wittingly quipped that he was open to the idea of replacing Charlie as ‘Martin Sheen’s son’.

News came out early this week that CBS President and CEO Lee Moonves still hopes to bring Charlie back on air.

RadarOnline said that Moonves is still ‘holding out hope that all ties with Sheen haven’t been severed irreparably’.

Moonves has earlier been reported talking to the top officials of Warner Bros who gave the green light for Charlie’s official notice of termination early this month.

"Moonves wants to get the show back on the air. He's all for it," an unnamed source told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

The source added, "He says certain people need to forget anything and everything Charlie's done recently and just move on with the business at hand.”

Meanwhile, Chuck Lorre, CBS’s co-creator of “Two and a Half-Men” has also been busy conducting his own meetings. But as the source speaking to RadarOnline.com noted, there was never any mention of Charlie’s name in those meetings. Lorre, who was the primary target of Charlie Sheen’s rants since late February has been reported considering recasting of America’s hit TV series.
