‘Jurassic World’: Chris Pratt's Character Responsible To Check For Vulnerabilities Of Indominus Rex Paddock Plus His Awkward Relationship With Claire
A new extended movie clip from “Jurassic World” has surfaced online. The video shows how Chris Pratt’s character, Owen, is responsible to check the paddock of the Indominus Rex and also reveals his relationship with Claire Dearing.
Fans of the franchise may have seen Owen training Velociraptors in a trailer of “Jurassic World.” The trailers also revealed that Claire Dearing holds an important position in the company that owns the dinosaur theme park in the movie. This video posted on YouTube shows a scene involving the two characters.
Claire has been asked by the CEO of Masrani Global to consult Owen before showing the Indominus Rex to the world. There are concerns about safety to the visitors and park owners want to make sure there are no vulnerabilities in the paddock that holds the new dinosaur.
The video mainly focuses on how the two main characters have an awkward relationship. Owen and Claire went out on a date and it did not work out as either of them planned. Claire has been shown to be a strong, organised decision maker in “Jurassic World,” while Owen is a carefree person, who tries to connect with the dinosaurs.
Claire printed out the itinerary for her date with Owen, while he wore board shorts to the date. The two characters have not had a second date, but they will have to work together to contain the Indominus Rex and save the lives of the visitors to the park in the movie.
Owen talks about mutual respect between the dinosaurs and himself, when he trains them. That however may be difficult with the Indominus Rex, the trailer shows the dinosaur killing a man that Owen goes into the paddock with and he barely manages to escape.
A new image from “Jurassic World” released by the producers shows Owen and two children at a store in the park, hiding from killer dinosaurs that are set loose in the park. This image was posted on the official Twitter page of the movie.
“Jurassic World” is slated to be released on June 11 in Australia and New Zealand. Fans of the franchise in Canada, UK and the U.S will be able to watch it in the movie theatres on June 12. It is one of the highly anticipated movies of the year.
