'Jurassic World' New Image Shows Chris Pratt Going After The Indominus Rex
The producers of “Jurassic World” have tweeted a new picture of Chris Pratt going after the Indominus Rex in the movie. The actor plays the role of a dinosaur researcher called Owen Grady, who works with the Velociraptors in the movie. [Warning: Spoilers Alert]
The first trailer of “Jurassic World” showed Chris Pratt riding his motorcycle with Velociraptors running alongside him. A new picture posted on the official Twitter page of the movie franchise shows the actor sitting on his motorcycle and carrying a gun.
The image has a quote from Owen that says that they will be going after the Indominus Rex with everything they have got. But, the tweet says that even that may not be enough to bring down the monstrous beast. The hybrid dinosaur in the movie is a lab creation using the genetic material of Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops and Giganotosaurus.
According to the official JurassicWorld website, the Indominus Rex has “ultra-tough bony osteoderms” that can be traced to the “Theropods known as Abelisaurs.” In other words, the skin of the hybrid dinosaur has a hard bony plate that is similar to what is found on the crocodiles.
The Indomins Rex can be seen surviving machine gun fire from a helicopter in the official Super Bowl trailer of “Jurassic World.” Previous images released by the producers on the official Twitter page of the movie showed that both Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, played by Bryce Dallas Howard, will be going deep into the park in order to investigate the deaths caused by the new dinosaur.
Another movie still posted on the Twitter page shows the two main characters looking outside from a window. “Probably safer to stay inside,” the tweet says. Commenting on the picture, some of the fans disagreed saying that the only safe place is off the island. One of the fans also pointed out that the Velociraptors had managed to get inside the building in which the children were hiding in the first movie that was released in 1993.
The trailer of “Jurassic World” shows that the twenty thousand visitors to park are trapped and have nowhere to go. The visitors are not only attacked by the Indominus Rex but also some of the other dinosaurs that get released in the movie.
