Following after the hit parody video, here comes Katy Perry with friends releasing their own version over at YouTube.

In the video, the singer was showing off her Coachella festival attire with her purple hair laid down. As she sported her stylish flowers with full make-up, she was joined in by a group of friends doing a lot of crazy lip sync and dancing. They all seemingly did the video in a mansion as they head for the music festival in California.

They end it all up shouting 'Coachella!' Katy also gave a message to Justin Bieber who has been the mentor of the singer of the song, Carly Rae Jepsen. Due to all the back up the young singer has been getting from renowned celebrities and icons in the music industry, her song has already hit in countries like Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia and UK.

Carly is the third placer in 2007's Canadian Idol. She recently expressed how overwhelmed she was with all the sudden fame and especially with Bieber being involved with her career. As many said, it can be seen as something like a pay it forward thing. Usher was helped by Bieber, remember? And now Bieber helps Carly.

On the other hand, Katy was busy partying out with her friends including another pop star Rihanna and she even tweeted that the entire experience was truly 'life changing.'
