Kendall Jenner Stars In Her First Estee Lauder Commercial
Kendall Jenner has been announced as the new face of iconic makeup brand Estee Lauder, and her first product advertisement has just come out. Kendall stars in a short video promoting the Estee Lauder product called Little Black Primer.
The reality star-turned high fashion model made the announcement on her Instagram page and posted the Estee Lauder advertisement. The video is in black and white and features several clips of Kendall’s face and eyes. The camera is zoomed in right at her eyes to show off the product. Some shots also show her full body while she’s walking as if on a runway. The makeup wand is also shown in the clip along with the words: “Introducing the first Little Black Primer.”
According to Estee Lauder's official website, the product is meant to make lashes look natural, intensified and dramatic. The primer is meant to be used before applying mascara to thicken and elongate lashes. The product sells for USD $24 online.
The announcement that Kendall has been signed as the new face of Estee Lauder was made back in November. The partnership came after Kendall completed a year touring the world’s most prestigious runway shows. She successfully appeared in the New York, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks, walking for brands like Balmain, Tommy Hilfiger, Diane Von Furstenberg and Chanel, among others. About two months after partnering up with the brand, the first Kendall Jenner and Estee Lauder collaboration has finally come out.
Kendall’s mom Kris Jenner also shared the video and commended her daughter for the campaign. She wrote on Instagram: “So proud of my girl @kendalljenner!!! Love this for @esteelauder #LittleBlackPrimer #EsteeLauder#proudmama#gorgeous”
Meanwhile, Kendall is having a very successful week. She has also appeared in yet another photo spread for Vogue Magazine. Designer Riccardo Tisci posted a photo of her wearing a Givenchy outfit on one of the photos for the spread. Kris Jenner also shared a photo from the February issue of Vogue and again congratulated her daughter.
