Kim Kardashian Could Be 'A Major Fashion Icon,' Says Her Model Sister Kendall Jenner
Kendall Jenner is a successful model who has walked the runway for various international brands but when it comes to getting dressed, she still thinks that no one can compete with her half-sister Kim Kardashian. The 19-year-old absolutely adores Kim's dressing sense and says that her sister could be “a major fashion icon” in the industry. Kendall graces the cover of latest issue of Harpers Bazaar magazine.
In an exclusive interview with Laura Brown – Executive Director of Harper's Bazaar magazine, Kendall said that she really admires Kim's style and thinks “it's insane.” The teenager said that her stylish reality-star sister really knows “how to work her style with her body” and believes that Kim “could be a major fashion icon.” “It’s so fun to be in Paris with her, but I’ll walk out and be like, 'Oh, my God, I love my outfit,' and then I’ll see Kim and I’ll be like, 'My outfit sucks compared to yours,'" Kendall added.
The magazine also asked her about her friendship with fellow models Cara Delevigne, Joan Smalls and Gigi Hadid. Kendall, who was bullied by various models in the past, is friends with many fellow models and is often spotted hanging out with Dele, Smalls and Hadid. The teenager told the magazine that it is “super important” to make friends in the industry.
For Kendall, it is important to hang out with girls she is comfortable with as her work involves hanging out together “for parties, for events, for shows.” “It’s good to have a set of girlfriends that you can stand being around,” Kendall told the magazine. She also added that being a model one has to be around these people all the time.
The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star also talked about her future plans and career goals. The reality star said she did not enter into modelling “thinking it’s going to be a fun thing that I’m going to do on the side.” Kendall wants to be a model for her “whole life” and said she wants to be “really gentle” with her career.
