A week after Konami’s nuclear disarmament call for “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” players, the developer revealed the current count of nukes in player bases. The call for peace was done just last week, and it specifically tasked players to dismantle or remove any nuclear missiles from their bases.

In a tweet posted by the official account of “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain,” it was said that there are still a lot of players who own a nuclear missile in the game, Eurogamer reports. Each console has its own tally of total nukes, and the results are as follows: PlayStation 4206, PlayStation 3: 153, Xbox One: 40, Xbox 360: 39, Steam: 12081. The data is as of Nov. 28, and it seems that players are still able to achieve the hidden ending found in the game.

To accomplish total nuclear disarmament, all “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” players must take out any nuke in their bases. However, there is a separate server for each tally. Basically, each console has its own server, and this means that all players on a specific console must take out the nukes in their bases.

If one server manages to deplete the total number of nukes to 0, all players within the server will be rewarded with a special hidden ending. Although the hidden ending has been previously leaked, gamers could still accomplish the feat and be rewarded with the special scene.

Konami has detailed a step-by-step process on how to achieve the feat, Techtimes reports. First, players must accomplish Mission 31, then each player must not have nukes or must not be developing any nuclear weapons. It sounds easy enough, but considering that there are over five million players who should do the same, the feat seems rather difficult. Luckily, the number of nukes seem to be dropping down since last week.
