Kylie Minogue To Replace Keith Urban on ‘The Voice Australia’? [PHOTOS]
Australian singer Kylie Minogue is rumored to be one of the music artists considered in replacing Keith Urban's judging chair on the reality TV show "The Voice Australia."
Even though Kylie Minogue claimed that she is not aware of any offers from the Australian TV show, the singer does not exactly rule out the consideration of becoming a talent judge.
"Those shows are going to keep happening every year for the foreseeable future. I'm a fan of those shows. To my knowledge, no, I'm not doing The Voice next year. But I don't know what I'm doing next year," Minogue revealed.
"Unless my management hasn't told me about it I know nothing about it. It just hasn't felt like the right thing for me to do yet. It may only be a matter of time, who knows?" she further added.
Heraldsun.com reports Kylie Minogue was initially offered one of the red chairs on the United Kingdom version of "The Voice." However, the spot was taken by English singer Jessie J. There has been rumors circulating that BBC could not afford to pay enough money to make Kylie Minogue become a judge on the show.
Kylie Minogue's new album "The Abbey Road Sessions" is scheduled for a release at the end of October. Then, at the end of this year, the 44-year-old singer and her boyfriend Andres Velencoso will head back to Australia for Sydney's New Year's Eve celebrations. Kylie Minogue has an important role after being appointed as the creative ambassador of the event.
