Just days after suffering a devastating loss with the death of his best friend, Jamie Sangouthai, Lamar Odom lost another friend, this time allegedly due to drug overdose. Bobby Heyward, a producer and writer died on Jun. 20. He was only 30.

US Magazine reports that Lamar Odom lost another close friend this month. While the LA County Coroners confirms the death of Heyward, the official cause of the death is yet to be announced.

Just last week, Heyward posted a heartbreaking message with the passing of Sangouthai. He took to Instagram to post a picture of him, Odom, Sangouthai, and another friend, all looking dapper, and captioned the photo with, ""#RIP To my big brother Jamie who always brought light into any room he walked into and laughter as well at all times J you will always be missed. Family for life. #BandOfBrothers #tbt.”

Lamar is yet to react to the death of another friend, when it had been reported that he was beside himself with the death of Sangouthai. According to the Coroner, Sangouthai did not die from drug overdose as it has been previously reported by many media outlets. However, the death is still drug related. Sangouthai officially died from a flesh-eating infection called necrotizing fasciitis that he got from using a dirty needle.

A New York City-based surgeon Dr. Normal shared to New York Post that this infection can spread like wildfire through the person’s body. It can start out as a little pimple o the leg or arm but can escalate so quick that the infected would land in the ICU. When the infection gets bad, the patients can suffer from multi-system organ failure, making their liver and kidneys shut down and be dysfunctional.

Odom took the death of Sangouthai, who appeared on the reality show of Lamar and Khloe Kardashian when they were still together, hard. Knowing the real cause only served to aggravate his sadness, because he did not know Sangouthai was suffering from any problems that would have pushed him to resort to using needles.
