Leaked ‘Fallout 4’ screenshots reveal amazing graphics and possible game opening sequences
The much-anticipated “Fallout 4” from Bethesda Softworks is nearing its launch date, and fans are more than eager to see what awaits them in the wastlelands of Boston. Luckily for them, some screenshots have been leaked ahead of the launch date of the game, and by the looks of it, “Fallout 4” is gearing up to be one great title.
The new leaked screenshots at Imgur show several images of Bethesda Softwork’s “Fallout 4” and some of the game’s aspects. The images were first posted on Reddit from an unspecified presentation.
Aside from how the game looks overall, the screenshots also show the game’s surrounding areas, NPC characters, power armour and a dog companion, among others. It is worth noting that the images are from the PlayStation 4 version of “Fallout 4.”
The first image shows off what looks to be the opening moments from the game; hence, before the nuclear fallout. It reveals an area that is still populated and yet to be destroyed by bombs.
Other images show how the open-world looks like after the bombs have fallen. The player HUD is also seen on the screenshots, which looks similar to that of previous titles like “Fallout 3” and “Fallout: New Vegas.” The images also reveal how the in-game Pip-boy looks, as it serves as the game’s main menu and mapping system.
The game is beautifully rendered, and it seems a lot of effort was exerted into ensuring quality visuals in the title. Gamespot reports that “Fallout 4” will run at an impressive 1080p/30 fps for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version, meanwhile, will not be restrained by resolution and frame rate limitations, as it will rely on the PC specs of the player.
“Fallout 4” will launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 10.
