‘The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors Legends’ 3DS and New 3DS difference revealed
The upcoming port of “The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors Legends” is expected to have some console differences from the Wii U and 3DS better since the former houses a significantly weaker processor. There will be a minor difference between playing on the 3DS and the New 3DS as well.
As reported by Polygon, the game’s producer Hayashi Yosuke was interviewed by Japanese gaming website, 4Gamer. Hayashi revealed a few details about the upcoming port of “The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors Legends” to the 3DS. According to Hayashi, the game’s stereoscopic 3D will be limited to the older 3DS hardware.
What this means is that only the New 3DS models will be able to give the game a 3D effect. He added that it had to be done in order to accommodate all the action and number of enemies on-screen. Since this game is part of the “Warriors” series by W-Force and Koei, there are literally tons of enemies on-screen with each battle.
Other than the limited 3D capabilities, the 3DS version of the game looks dialed down as compared to the Wii U title overall. In this comparison video as seen on Zelda Dungeon showcases the vast difference in graphics between the two games.
Aside from the addition of a c-stick, several features and layout of several buttons and components, the New 3DS is a much stronger device as it houses more processing power than the older version. The New 3DS is capable of running more demanding games; it can even dish out better graphics than the older mode. One notable example is the port of the Wii title “Xenoblade Chronicles” to the 3DS. Due to processing restraints, the game was made only playable on the New 3DS. There are also other games which look notably better on the newer model like “Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.”
