The world's hottest lesbian, Filipina singer Charice Pempengco, will return to acting via a true-to-life coming out story focusing on her lesbian love affair with another Filipina singer to be shown on Saturday, Aug 10.

This is her second attempt at acting after appearing briefly as exchange student Sunshine Corazon in the hit Fox TV series Glee which tapped her talent for singing.

However, it will be a dramatic role for the 21-year-old singer as she portrays herself in the Saturday episode of Magpakailanman (Forever) over GMA-7. It is actually the second life story portrayal on Charice, but the first one where she also portrayed herself focused on her rise to international fame as a singer, and there was no mention of her sexuality.

But a few weeks back, Charice decided to come out and admit to the rumours that she has a different sexual preference. Her coming out and love affair with Alyssa Quijano, a pretty and feminine singer who was a competitor when they were still kids, will be the focus of this second chapter in her life.

Charice admits that it would be a controversial episode because she did not seek the permission of her mother, Raquel Pempengco, from whom she is estranged, because she is sure her mum would not allow the story to come out.

It was Raquel who initially tried to quash all rumours about Charice's being lesbian to protect her daughter's career.

While Charice's career slowed down when she stayed away from the limelight amid speculations about her real sexual preference, fueled by the sudden and drastic change in her physical appearance from feminine to masculine, her showbiz career has resumed.

She is scheduled to hold a concert by the end of September with fellow lesbian Aiza Seguerra and fly to the U.S. to sing the national anthem and then to Germany to record an album.
