LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P new benchmarks surface

The announcement date of Sept. 29 for the new Nexus 2015 smartphones is drawing near. Fresh GeekBench benchmarks of the LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P smartphones have surfaced.

On the GeekBench report of the LG Nexus 5X that was uploaded on Sept. 23, the handset is mentioned with its LGE Bullhead. On the single-core and multi-core tests, the handset recorded respective scores of 1000 and 2919. The report mentions that it features a 1.44 GHz six-core processor (Snapdragon 808), 1800 MB memory (2 GB of RAM) and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, Phandroid reported.

The other features of the LG Nexus 5X include 5.2 inches full HD display, 12.3 MP rear camera, 5 MP front-facing camera and 2,700 mAh battery. It will be available in storage variants like 32 GB and 64 GB. It also features front-facing speakers, USB Type-C connector and a fingerprint scanner. It will be available in color variants like white, black and blue.

The GeekBench report of the Huawei Nexus 6P that was uploaded on Sept. 22 lists the handset with its codename of Huawei Angler. It churned a single-core score of 1310 and a multiple-core score of 4431. The GeekBench listing states that the handset is powered by a 1.55 GHz eight-core processor (Snapdragon 810), 2702 MB of memory (3 GB of RAM) and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Rumours indicate that the Huawei Nexus 6P will be housing a large display of 5.7 inches that will support Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The rear camera will be of 13 MP whereas the front will be featuring an 8 MP shooter.

It will be available in multiple storage editions like 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. It will be packed with a huge battery of 3,500 mAh capacity and will come with other features like a USB Type-C slot and a fingerprint scanner. It will be available in different colors like black, white, grey and gold, Android Police reported.
