Miley Cyrus’ fiancé Liam Hemsworth has impressed a U.S. burger chain for eating and throwing up 45 burgers from its branch. The fast food chain is offering the Australian actor 20,000 USD to give to a charity of his choice after Liam boasted of eating and subsequently throwing up dozens of White Castle burgers.

Earlier in August, Liam dropped by at the late night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to promote his new film “Paranoia.” He had mentioned an incident in which he was so excited to taste a burger from the chain that he had ordered a lot more than his body could handle.

He recounted how big of a fan he was of the comedy flick “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle” when he was a teenager. So when he came to the U.S., he was surprised that White Castle is a real establishment.

So when he was in Kentucky shooting the first “Hunger Games,” he formed an unusual bonding moment with co-star Josh Hutcherson when they bought about 90 burgers from White Castle and ate them in the latter’s house. Their bodies proved to be no match for the burgers, though.

“We bought three or four briefcases of White Castle burgers,” he told the host. “We took them back to his house and we ate them.

“And then about half an hour later, this was our first real bonding experience, me and Josh. This was when we really became good friends. And we went out to his garden and we threw up together.”

White Castle heard Liam’s story and was so impressed that he could eat that many burgers in one sitting that the restaurant wanted to induct him into the White Castle Hall of Fame.

A rep for the establishment told TMZ that it wants to donate 20,000 USD as well to Liam’s charity of choice.

As for Josh, White Castle didn’t say anything about giving him cash donation or even an honour.

Meanwhile, Liam’s fiancée, Miley, is making headlines with her raunchy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. The former Disney star created a stir when she twerked against Robin Thicke on stage wearing just a skimpy set of flesh-coloured bikini.

Her jaw-dropping performance was met with overwhelming negative reactions from viewers and even some celebrities, including Brooke Shields, who played Miley’s dead mum on “Hannah Montana.”

Miley doesn’t seem to care, though. In fact, she appeared to be enjoying the attention as she posted more provocative photos on her Twitter account.
