The Philippines has proven once again that Filipinas are a force to be reckoned with in international pageants. A third crown for the Philippines this year, Bea Rose Santiago bagged the Miss International 2013 at Tokyo, Japan and bested 66 candidates from all parts of the world.

The 53rd edition of Miss International Beauty Pageant is the last international beauty contest of the year and that final event took place on Dec. 17 at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hall, Tokyo, Japan. Miss Philippines Bea Rose Santiago was crowned as this year's winner by the 2008 title holder Alejandra Andreu of Spain.
