Marilyn Manson Gets Clocked In The Face, Denies Initiating The Fight And Plans To Sue His Assailant
Rock star Marilyn Manson reportedly received a blow to the face at a local restaurant in Canada early Sunday morning after insulting his assailant’s girlfriend, witnesses claim. Manson, who dropped by to grab a late night dinner, denied starting the turmoil and is planning to press charges against the guy who gave him a “sucker punch.”
TMZ reports that the “Sons of Anarchy” guest star went into Denny’s to grab a bite at around two in the morning after his concert, which is a part of his current tour to promote his latest album “The Pale Emperor,” in Alberta, Canada. Sources tell the site that the rocker got into an intense argument with some people over the other table until at one point, he called one of the girls an offensive name. The girl’s boyfriend was utterly offended, and supposedly proceeded to punch Manson right in the face. It was unclear if Manson hit him, or anyone else, right back.
Lethbridge Regional Police confirmed in a statement to E! News the disturbance that occurred that night, adding that upon investigation it was found out that “three people had been involved in a physical altercation and sustained minor injuries.” However, there were no charges filed and the case was declared closed.
In an updated report however, the 46-year-old flatly denied starting of the altercation. His manager insists that he was simply having a late night meal when two girls asked him for a photo, to which the rocker obliged. Manson never called either woman or anyone else in the restaurant the offensive name which was why it came as a surprise to them when his assailant came out of nowhere and suddenly landed a big one on the rock star’s face.
Manson’s security then grabbed the guy who “sucker punched” him and also allegedly elbowed his makeup artist in the face. The attacker also began screaming about “blowing up” his next concert. Manson and his team plan to go back to Alberta to press charges as they are not willing to let the incident slide.
