Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12 has finally changed hands and is now with Microsoft for Cert Testing.

4J Studios made the official announcement over the weekend in their official Twitter account, "TU 12 has now been handed over to Microsoft for testing! Here's the change list."

Over at the MInecraft forums, the official change log for the Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12 has been detailed, with a handful of new items to be expected when the update releases.

Among these new additions include ocelots/cats, iron golem, baby villager, red stone lamps, jungle wood stairs, jungle half slabs, jungle wood blocks, jungle wood planks, jungle tree samplings, and ocelot spawn eggs.

For the creative mode, the chiseled stone brick and some mob heads, such as the Skeleton, Wither Skeleton, Zombie, Human, and Creeper have been added.

The list of changes and fixes for the TU 12 is comparably longer than the TU 10 and TU 11, which pretty much justifies the time that the update has been in 4J Studios' drawing board.

Some of the changes and additions include a new tutorial world, a map height limit changed to 256, jungle biomes and trees, cocoa beans growing on jungle trees, slabs and stairs placed upside down, new corner stairs and upside corner stairs, 3D dropped items, and nightly zombie sieges.

Most of these have already been leaked either at forum speculations or the various screenshots that 4J Studios has released as teasers to the update. There are also some new changes, such as the zombies' ability to break down doors on Hard Mode, rare drops for Mobs, Desert Wells in Desert biomes, double doors matched with Redstone, and increased max boats to 40 per world.

There is also a Favorites tab that has been added to the Skin Selector menu for storing the most recently used skins, as well as a support for Texture Packs and Mash-up Packs, which you can display in the Minecraft Store.

You can check the Minecraft forum here for the complete list of the change log, along with the other fixes. Meanwhile, the actual release date of the Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12 has not yet been announced or hinted by developers, so stay tuned.
