It all began with the Batgirl Challenge on the iOS port of Injustice: Gods Among Us, and now there will be a General Zod Challenge to deliver time-based obstacles and missions.

Gamezebo reports that completion of the tasks would give you a sweet reward: a special exclusive Gold Character card for General Zod.

This follows news of the release of Zatanna as the sixth DLC character, after she won the unofficial poll that NetherRealm Studios boss Ed Boon held way back. With the DLC's release date slated for August 13, Boon had an announcement via Twitter:

"It's looking like we are doing another video stream at NetherRealm this coming Monday (Aug 12) to preview Zatanna!!"

And as a bit of extra for those who are expecting more content from developers, Boon, in response to a fan asking if more skins are planned for release, said, "Oh yes."

After a release-filled July, the action for INJUSTICE this August is looking to continue the momentum.

COD: Black Ops 2 gets final expansion pack

August marks the last month for the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's final DLC, announced to be Apocalypse.

According to Joystiq, the pack has four multiplayer maps and a Zombies mode, with the four original men from the first Zombies map now starring for this pack, namely Tank, Nikolai, Takeo, and Rictofen.

The report states that the pack will see France dominated by zombies and a thousand-foot robot that stands in the way of the heroes.

Settings will range from a 70s pseudo-utopian area in Taiwan, a European city, a launch site in the Pacific, and an adaptation of a previous map.

"Apocalypse is Treyarch's grand finale to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2," said Mark Lamia, Treyarch studio head, in a press release from Joystiq. "It is the perfect culmination of our efforts and fan feedback. Apocalypse is a DLC pack that our fans will never forget."

The pack is set for release on August 27 with a timed-exclusive release for the Xbox 360 for 1200 Microsoft Points.

Monster Hunter 4 features monsters and a trailer

There's a reason why the title of the game is such--you can expect a bevy of monsters when you play the 3DS game, slated for release on September 14.

You can catch a lot of action and interesting characters in the new trailer. Featuring new attacks, personalities, landscapes, and weapons, Nintendo seems to be pushing towards better games for its 3DS console.

While the new trailer has appeared, Siliconera has also listed a number of ways by which the Goa Magara monster will be making its attacks.

Some of these include a powerful breath attack which explodes on impact and more difficult to dodge. There is also the binding attack that will grab you and give you a hard whopping if you don't escape.

There is also the smash attack, which can be used in tandem with the grapple bind, so make sure that you will not be broken into pieces when the Goa Magara destroys you along with the landscape with the attack.
