After a pretty quiet time for 4J Studios--quite understandable, since they are hard at work with the game's next update--the developers have finally give some word on the progress of the Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12.

"We're bug-fixing TU 12 at the moment. Lots more bugs to fix... We'll let you know when it goes to Microsoft Cert test."

Another Twitter post revealed that the change log will be announced containing all the features that will be added, modified, or changed for the TU 12. "We'll post a change list for TU 12 once we put it into Microsoft Certification testing."

But that's not all that can be expected from 4J Studios. Just recently, the rumoured Skin Pack 5, which was hinted to come out with the Minecraft Xbox 360 TU 12, was also touched on by the developers.

"The 4J artists are finishing up on Skin Pack 5--more info will be coming soon," according to an official tweet. To add to the teaser, the developers responded to a fan question on providing screenshots for the Skin Pack 4 with a quick reply of "Soon."

Speculations on possible features for TU 12

As usual, those who are keeping a close watch on the TU 12 update have come up with a couple of feature suggestions, which they think can make the gameplay even better.

From Insider Media Group, one idea is for a telescopic glass to aid the players in reading accompanying texts, either for inventories or in-game signs.

Aligning it with the way the bow works by doing a close up on the target, the telescopic glass would enable gamers to magnify texts for better reading. The telescopic glass could be created via glass, gold, and redstone while playing the Minecraft Xbox 360 edition.

Another idea from the publication follows up on a previously liked idea by 4J Studios themselves. This idea banks on the capability of resetting the Nether in games, which can appear as a pop-up notification of resetting the Nether.

Some more speculations hint at the possibility of multiplayer lag once the TU 12 update is released. According to The Examiner, which quoted a report from Gawd Almighty, adding more content to the sandbox game may take a toll on the hardware, considering that the TU 11 update was already big as it is, but only provided bug fixes as majority of the update.

As a possible effect, there may be lag issues when playing the multiplayer mode for the game.

Expect more updates as 4J Studios roll in with their TU 12 finishing touches.
