“Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” will be enjoyable even after launch. Bandai Namco has finally announced the post-launch DLC packs that will expand the game even more following its release.
Three DLCs will come to the game, two of which are scenario packs, while the last is a playable character pack. Separately, the DLCs will cost 700 yen (approx. AU$8). However, the Season Pass is also worth getting to save more, as well as get the Combination Secret Technique, Gematsu reported.
The first Scenario Pack brings three more hours of gameplay, a costume, four Combination Secret Techniques, an Item Set, 10 Ninja Info Cards, 10 Matching Voices and 10 costumes from previous “Naruto” games. Scenario Pack #2 is similar, except that it will only add three Combination Secret Techniques and will feature another new costume.
The playable character pack will bring in four new characters that are yet to be specified. Other content in the pack includes three Combination Techniques, an Item Set, 10 each of the Ninja Info Cards, Matching Voices and costumes from previous games.
Previously, the Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump also revealed new details on the online mode for “Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.” According to Anime News Network, the adventure mode will feature the Konoha and Suna villages. Players will be able to explore and go on missions in these areas via the modes.
Events will be scattered within the mode, some of which are triggered by encountering characters. On the other hand, the online mode features battles against other characters. It will also bring in some online time-limited events to give the game even more depth and activity variation
“Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” is coming to Europe on Feb. 5, while North America fans can expect it a little later on Feb. 9. Preorders for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC versions will yield the bonus content characters Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha, playable characters from the “Boruto – Naruto the Movie” flick.
