Many leaks point to the direction of an upcoming smartphone that looks like the current HTC One. Another leaked image form M Helal on Google+ revealed a smartphone that resembles HTC One with dual flash module, which is similar to a previous leak.

Based on the depicted image, the casing is a little glossier than the current HTC One model and the front view notably confirms HTC will switch to virtual navigation buttons.

Recently, the duo of leaked alleged HTC M8 photos made the rounds all over the net. Similar to the previous leaks, the photographs were in different color schemes from the aluminium finish.

The black polycarbonate line on the back of HTC phone reveals this device does not have the usual aluminium finish. The polycarbonate elements around the device are finished in white in the current HTC One.

Due to the poor lighting of the images, it is quite hard to exactly place the color of the handset. But a gold color scheme is a safe bet based on the low quality image. In the previous year, the Taiwanese tech company released a mass-market gold version of HTC One, appearing pretty similar with this leaked image.

Different colors aside, the leaked photos offer a glimpse of the handset's dual-camera set-up, including a two-toned dual-LED flash. The front of the device had no surprises with the lack of physical buttons for navigating Android.

These rumors must be taken with a grain of salt and reports are expected to firm up as HTC M8 release date nears. The next flagship smartphone of HTC is expected to be launched in March with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC processor, 4.7-inch or 5-inch 1080p display, 2 GB RAM, dual 5MP sensor camera and Sense-d Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

Apart from it, a mini version may be expected to follow the flagship as reported.
