New Sony, Huawei, Lenovo Devices at CES 2013
While many smart, high-tech TVs and cars will dominate most of the appearances in the CES 2013 in Las Vegas, Sony, Huawei, and Lenovo will bring some of their new devices to the show.
Sony Xperia Z has leaked about this new device in 2013 and finally it will make its premiere at the CES. The new Xperia smartphone sports 5-inch of display with 1080p resolution, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory and expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card, quad-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 13MP rear-facing camera, and runs the latest Android 4.1.2 Jellybean. Sony is expected to make a good comeback and could be hinting of its new flagship device.
Huawei Ascend D2 has been uncovered thanks to the new billboard for Huawei about this new smartphone. Ascend D2 rumours said that it would have 5-inch 1080p display with 1920x1080 resolution, Huawei's own built chip - the K3V quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 13MP rear-facing camera, 3000mAh battery, and runs Android 4.1 Jellybean. The RAM and its storage are not yet confirmed and hopes are high that maybe it can get Android 4.2 to make it stand out.
Another competitor will launch three debuting smartphones at the CES 2013 and all of these are IdeaPhones: Lenovo IdeaPhones P770, S890, and S720. The IdeaPhone P770 would have 3500mAh battery, 4.5-inch of qHD IPS display, and runs Android 4.1 Jellybean. Lenovo claims that even with its display and battery ratio, P770 will lasts for more than 12 hours.
IdeaPhone S890 would boast of its 5-inch IPS display with the size similar to the original Galaxy note, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 8MP rear camera, Lenovo's custom skin, and Android 4.1 Jellybean runs the device.
The IdeaPhone S720, on the other hand, comes with 4.5-inch qHD IPS display, the same with P770 designed for multimedia functions, and runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This could be a mid-range Android smartphone.
HTC and Motorola are expected to make surprises in CES 2013 because of their current standing in the smartphone industry. Hopefully, more innovations will come from them aside the famous HTC Sense and Droid form factors.
