Andrew Luck has rejoined the Indianapolis Colts’ full practice on Monday and appears to have recovered from a shoulder injury that caused him to miss the past two games for the team.

Mike Chappal of Indy Sports Central provided an update on Luck’s status on Twitter and added information on Matt Hasselbeck, who played in the Colts’ last game despite a bacterial infection.

Hasselbeck has played well in the Colts last two games, both of which were victories. Indianapolis beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, 16-13 and the back-up quarterback had 282 passing yards on 30-of-47 completions with a touchdown. On Sunday, the Colts defeated the Houston Texans, 27-20 and Hasselbeck had 213 passing yards on 18-of-29 completions with two touchdowns.

Three days ago, Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said that Luck is close to returning. Luck’s probable return in Week 6 coincides with the team’s first game against the New England Patriots since the start of the “Deflategate” controversy. It was the Colts who reported the probable underinflated balls used in the November 2014 game against the Patriots.

Patriots QB Tom Brady was suspended for four games by the league for his involvement in the controversy, but the suspension was eventually overturned. If the decision was upheld, the game against the Colts in Week 6 would have been Brady’s first game back after the supposed suspension.

The Patriots are currently one of the undefeated teams in the regular season with a 4-0 win-loss record. Luck is also 0-4 against the Patriots in his NFL career. Throughout three games in the 2015 regular season, Luck has accumulated 753 passing yards on 65-of-116 completions with five touchdowns and seven interceptions.
