Nina Dobrev Exits 'The Vampire Diaries,' Kat Graham Calls It ‘Bittersweet’
Nina even posted a very long message for her fans in Instagram that same day. Just like Nina Dobrev’s fans, Us stated that Kat Graham was also sad when she left The Vampire Diaries. However, she shed the positive light when she said that she is excited for the exciting things that are going to happen next in the life of her co-star.
Nina Dobrev said in her post that a six-season adventure was what she wished for Elena since the very start. “Within those six years, I got the journey of a lifetime,” she said. "I was a human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger. I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, and there's still so much more to come before the season finale in May.”
In an interview on April 18, 2015 Wednesday, Kat Graham told VH1 Big Morning Buzz that she respects Nina Dobrev’s decision which she figured out has been made a long time ago. She also stated that even if she still wanted their ‘family’ to stay intact forever, she understands that everyone has to go their own ways and that she wants to be the one to cheer them on when their time to leave comes.
According to TV Line, Kat Graham also said that the fans should watch out for the big ending of the season. She said that it will be an epic season finale because of a battle scene which will surprise the viewers big time.
