Nokia Lumia 2520 vs. Apple iPad Air: Nokia Video Ad Plugs Windows RT Tablet, Mocks the Apple Device [VIDEO]
Nokia's approach in plugging the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet in the new video ad is to mock rival device Apple iPad Air. The Nokia ad in The Next Web report slammed the Apple tablet for lacking keyboard accessory as well as long battery life and claimed that the Nokia Lumia 2520 is the better tablet choice.
Credit: YouTube.com/Nokia"Smart keyboard. Fast charging battery. Built-in Microsoft office." That is what Nokia's over one minute video ad touts for the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet. Though the Apple iPad Air was not directly mentioned in the mocking ad, the voiceover that says "It's thin. Thinner than a pencil" and "Did I mention one of these has been to space?" suggest that the Finnish company is attacking the Apple device.
Have a look at the Nokia video ad titled "Nokia Lumia 2520: The right tablet" above. The description on the YouTube video reads: "The Nokia Lumia 2520: The right tablet if you don't want to choose, work OR play, battery OR bulk. We know lots of people buy a tablet because they don't like to carry a heavier, bigger laptop everywhere they go, but how does that work out?"
According to the CNET report, Nokia believes that the recently unveiled Nokia Lumia 2520 can be prominent for its battery life, keyboard accessories, LTE connection and colourful design. The keyboard accessory for the Nokia Lumia 2520, a bulkier version to the thin keyboard accessory of the Microsoft Surface tablet, costs $150 and it can also act as a cover for the device.
The Nokia Lumia 2520's features and specs in the Nokia Products page include the 10.1-inch Full HD 1080p screen display, powered with the 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Windows 8.1 RT software, 2GB of RAM, a non-removable 8120mAh battery, a 6.7MP rear-facing camera, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC and 32GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded to 64GB through the microSD card slot.
The tablet's productivity features include the Lync (Corporate IM) free download, SkyDrive storage for documents and notes and Excel, Word, Powerpoint, OneNote and Microsoft Outlook for Office apps with Xbox-Live Hub as a game feature and software updates available via Windows update.
