Nokia Lumia 920: AT&T Offers Windows Phone Handset at a Price of $0.99, Price Drop Due to Nokia Lumia 1520 Arrival?
AT&T launched the Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone about a year ago with a premium selling price, but, the U.S. carrier has dropped down the Window Phone handset price to only $0.99 following its previous price drop in late August from $99 to $49. The News Tribe report claims the Nokia Lumia 920 price drop at AT&T in August was basically due to the arrival of the other Nokia devices such as the Nokia Lumia 925 and Nokia Lumia 1020.

AT&T currently offers the Matte Black, High Gloss Red and High Gloss Yellow variants of the Nokia Lumia 920 for the price of $0.99 on a two-year contract. The U.S. carrier is selling the Nokia handset as well with the outright price of $439.99 with 32GB of internal storage capacity.
Nokia have been working in partnership with AT&T and it is expected that the Finnish company's upcoming new device, the Nokia Lumia 1520 Windows Phone phablet, will be arriving at the U.S. carrier soon. According to the G4Games report, the Nokia phablet will be hitting the market on November 8 after its official unveiling on October 22 at the Nokia World event Abu Dhabi.
For the new device's pricing scheme, it is rumoured to have the price tag of $699 without contract. Other pricing speculations claim that AT&T could offer the Nokia Lumia 1520 at a $650 price without contract or approximately $299 with a two-year contract just like what the U.S. carrier did with the Nokia Lumia 1020.
The arrival of the Nokia Lumia 1520 at AT&T is deemed to be the end for the Nokia Lumia 920, hence, the price to be slashed down to as low as $0.99. "If this happens then the devices that Nokia will have on AT&T will be the Nokia Lumia 520, 925, 1020 and 1520," the AndroidPit report reads.
The Nokia Lumia 920 boasts of its 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen display, 32GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera with 3264x2448p resolution with Carl Zeiss optics, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), LED flash, Bluetooth 4.0, Windows Phone 8 OS upgradeable to the WP8 Amber update and the power of a 2000mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery.
