"Adidas miCoach is a leading fitness app, and a true training accessory that is as personal to your body as the shoes you run in. When combined with Nokia smartphones like the Lumia 620 with its protective cover and Bluetooth SMART connectivity, Adidas miCoach is the ideal personal coaching partner," Bryan Biniak, Nokia's VP & General Manager Developer Experience, stated.
Simon Drabble of miCoach BU Adidas further added: "This is a great partnership for miCoach. The Nokia Lumia Windows Phone is a great platform to give users a unique experience that combines engaging personal coaching with rich data visualization. Hopefully through this new partnership even more athletes will join the miCoach family and start training smarter!"

Using the miCoach fitness app with the Nokia Music feature will allow the smartphone owners to select and play their personal collection while exercising or samples from the Adidas-selected music mixes integrated in the application. The HERE Maps feature, on the other hand, will simplify the workout route and an indoor workout like on the treadmill only requires the app to be set to GPS Off (Indoor) mode for the workout to be guided.
Additionally, using the miCoach fitness app on the Nokia Lumia phones will allow access to special "voice packs" from leading professional athletes that work with Adidas. Using the miCoach fitness app on the Nokia Lumia phones for the first time will require the owners to complete the 12-minute personal assessment that will determine how far they can push to the limit without overdoing the workout.
At the end of the workout, the miCoach fitness app will display the results which can be saved and shared on social media sites. The app will also keep track of the users' "lifetime stats" and "achievements" like the "Most Calories Burned" they can examine the results of their previous workouts.
Nokia Lumia smartphone owners can select as well from the collection of free workouts available in the app based on the choice of activity such as running, cycling, walking and even strength training for 15 to 30 minutes with some requiring additional workout equipment in order to finish the training. Head to the miCoach.com Web site to know when the next workout will take place since it can be tied to the Nokia Lumia's Calendar.
The Adidas miCoach fitness app provides Bluetooth compatibility with heart rate monitors from Adidas that the smartphone owners can purchase for use with the Nokia Lumia 520, 620 or 720.
