The Nokia Lumia 929 Windows Phone handset is reportedly set to arrive at Verizon in November 2013 as the company expands the Nokia smartphone range past the Nokia Lumia 928. The Windows Phone Central report claims that the upcoming Nokia device's inventory date has been set on November 6 with $500 price without the two-year contract in black and white colour options.

In August, the Nokia Lumia 929 handset already passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States, but the precise details on the Nokia device's features and specs are still unknown. According to the Pocket Lint report, the Nokia Lumia 929 will be launched next to the Nokia Lumia 1520 as the smaller screen-sized display at 5 inches compared to the 6-inch screen display of the Nokia Lumia 1520.

Reliable mobile device source @evleaks previously shared a press image of the Nokia Lumia 929 which increased the hype of the Nokia device enthusiasts. The leaked image shows the Verizon branding on the Finnish company's device having compatibility with the 4G LTE data network and the 20MP rear-facing camera that includes the impressive Nokia PureView technology.

The Techno Buffalo report suggests as well the preparations of Nokia in releasing a number of devices before completely turning over to Microsoft. The report reads: "Nokia looks set to launch a slew of devices before the complete hand over to Microsoft and amongst them will be the Lumia 929 destined for Verizon. Judging by the number of tiles on the home screen it looks like the device will be 5-inches, which will be supported once GDR3 is released in the coming weeks."

The Nokia Lumia 929 is expected to be the first phablet-sized Windows Phone handset that has the 1080p display resolution available at Verizon. Though smaller in size, the Nokia Lumia 929 will reportedly have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor found on its big brother, the Nokia Lumia 1520.

Nokia will be holding an important event called "Nokia World" on October 22 in Abu Dhabi where six new devices are anticipated to be officially unveiled. The Nokia devices speculated to make a grand appearance at the press event includes the Verizon-exclusive Nokia Lumia 929, the 6-inch Nokia Lumia 1520 Windows Phone phablet, the Nokia Asha handsets that will widen and pep up the Finnish smartphone manufacturer's lower-end devices and the Nokia Lumia 2520 "Sirius" tablet.
