Reliable mobile device source @evleaks recently revealed through social networking site Twitter that Nokia will officially launch the "Sirius" tablet as the Nokia Lumia 2520 and the device arrival at Verizon is set in October 2013. However, it is still unclear if the Finnish company will introduce this new device on the October 22 event along with other Lumia range like the Nokia Lumia 1520 and Nokia Lumia 929.

"Nokia Sirius = Lumia 2520," @evleaks' Twitter post read on Saturday, September 21. The following day, @evleaks made another Twitter announcement on the Nokia Lumia 2520 and the post reads: "Nokia Lumia 2520 headed to Verizon in black and red."

An image of the Nokia Lumia 2520 in red colour option has already been leaked where it shows the Verizon branding. Other reports claim that U.S. carrier AT&T could carry as well the upcoming Nokia tablet.

According to the Phones Review report, the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet pricing scheme is expected to begin at approximately $499 and the tablet will have an optional cover accessory. The cover can be utilized as a tablet stand with a battery incorporated.

The rumoured Nokia Lumia 2520 features and specs include a 10.1-inch screen display with 1080p resolution, 5-point multi-touch and wide viewing angles, the 2.15GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Windows RT 8.1 on board and the available 32GB internal storage capacity.

Additional features and specs are the 6.7MP rear-facing camera with Carl Zeiss optics, the 2MP front-facing camera, a keyboard dock, the Nokia tablet's capability to connect to the 4G LTE network, a micro HDMI slot available and the USB 3.0 port.

Nokia has confirmed that the company will have more to share on the October 22 event when the announcement was made via Twitter. "At Nokia, we never stop innovating. The excitement now builds up on whether Nokia will introduce one or all of their rumoured devices in the important launch event such as the Nokia Lumia 1520 Windows Phone phablet, the Nokia Lumia 929 and the Nokia Lumia 2520 "Sirius" tablet.
