As she renders it, it served as a narrative of how the entire neighbourhood of 'Desperate Housewives' turned out to be. It was a tender line good enough for a finale which says: "It's not just a bunch of houses in the same place. It's a community - people who care about each other."
Tom and Lynette reconciled to save their rocky and turbulent marriage. Preparations started for the gala marriage of Ben and Renee, topped with a mix of hysteria and everything confusing.

With the finale having drawn 30 million viewers, it says the show has a bigger fan base that they thought. For the final season, the show averaged an audience viewership of 8.5 million every week.
