Omar Borkan Al Gala Appears to Be Enjoying Newfound Fame; Opens Twitter Account, Creates Blog, Spawns Fake FB Accounts (PHOTOS)
Omar Borkan Al Gala, the United Arab Emirates citizen who was allegedly deported from Saudi Arabia along with two other males for being too handsome is obviously enjoying his newfound fame.
Fresh from his international fame - although he has not admitted the deportation part - Omar just obviously opened a Twitter account using the handle @omarborkanlgala. He has just five tweets, the first of which was posted on April 26 but has so far 10,193 followers.
He is just following 10, including 3 French-language sites, the UN Refugee Agency and Amnesty International, Facebook and singer David Guetta.
Omar is also using his Twitter account to promote his blog omarborkanalgala.blogspot.com which has eight sections. These are on his biography, latest interview, news section on the desert, the UAE, the Yowla music and dance, Arabian romance, his memories of Arabia and his photographs.
The blog is also apparently new since besides the eight categories, clicking on them for more content would return to the home page, except for the brief video on his latest interview.
At Facebook, where the real Omar Borkan Al Gala account has more than 480,000 likes, there are 20 Omar Borkan Al Gala accounts which are either fakes or fan pages.
For instance, the first one that popped up after the real account belongs to someone who studied at the Our Lady of Fatima University in Quezon City, Philippines and is in a relationship with Devie Rose Kumar. Another one states that he works as Zyklon loop operator at Star City, Philippines and studied at the Far Eastern University.
Still another one said he works at the School of Visual Arts, studied at Crosby High School and lives in New York, New York. A fourth one states that he lives in Tejada, Veracruz-Llave, Mexico and knows English and Spanglish.
YouTube also has several Omar videos that were posted in the last two days. Here's a sample of one.
So much for the fake Omars. The real one is apparently more interesting. Here are four photographs from his FB account which do not focus on his handsome face but show his other character, apparently unnoticed because of his beauty that threatens Saudi Arabians.
