The OnePlus One sports a 5.5 inches JDI 1080p Full HD 1920 x 1080 display with 401ppi protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which makes it bigger than the 5 inches Nexus 5 and the 4.7 inches Moto X display. In terms of display quality, the Nexus 5 with 1080p HD IPS+ 445ppi edges out the other two, with Moto X only having 720p AMOLED display with 312ppi.

Because the OnePlus One is sporting the latest Qualcomm chip, better performance in multitasking is expected from it compared to the Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz of the Nexus 5 with 2GB of RAM, 330 GPU and 16GB and 32GB of storage options. The Nexus 5 is no slouch but the gap widens with the Moto X which sports the much older Snapdragon S4Pro dual-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, Adreno 320 GPU.

When it comes to the camera, the Nexus 5 and the Moto X cannot stand a change as the Nexus 5 has only 8MP, 1080p HD video at 30fps and 1.3MP front camera. On the other hand the Moto X appears to give a good fight with its 10MP sensor camera and 1080p HD capabilities at 60fps.

The OnePlus One is currently available at $299 for a 16GB Silk White and $350 for a 64GB Sandstone Black, which is a remarkable price for a device with hardware and software of that calibre. On the other hand, the Nexus 5 costs $349 for the 16GB variant and $399 for a 32GB variant while the Moto X is available at $349.99 for the 16GB variant and $399.99 for a 32GB variant.
