'Orphan Black' Season 4 Update: Season 3 Penultimate Episode Bloodbath To Haunt Hendrix Couple In New Season
The penultimate episode of “Orphan Black” Season 3 saw Helena (Tatiana Maslany) going murder crazy and chopping up Pouchy and company, as they threatened Alison and Donnie’s kids. This bloodbath is going to cause trouble for the Hendrix couple in “Orphan Black” Season 4.
“... bloody massacre may come back to haunt Alison’s happily ever after with Donnie,” TV Line reported. The report quoted executive producer as saying that the two are still bonded, but “there’s a few things that happened at the end of the season that could have some impact going forward.”
Meanwhile, the season finale of “Orphan Black” Season 3 ended on a positive note for the couple, with Alison winning the school trustee election. Speaking about what is in store for this crazy couple in “Orphan Black” Season 4, co-creator Graeme Manson said to The Hollywood Reporter that the couple will continue their “hijinks,” and Alison is set to become closer to her sisters.
In addition, “Orphan Black” Season 4 will see Sarah trying to understand how deep Neolution runs, which according to Manson, is part of her journey in the new season. He also said to Los Angeles Times that Sarah has come to an understanding that to “move forward, you have to look into the past. I think that that's probably a theme of season 4.”
And speaking about Rachel, who met her presumed-dead mother Susan Duncan in “Orphan Black” Season 3 finale, Manson told Los Angeles Times that the new season will reveal more details about her and her past, as a “new window has really opened on Rachel's story.”
Except Mark, most of the male clones were killed off in Season 3, the season that introduced them, but this does not mean the the audience have seen the last of Castor, according to Manson’s interview with Los Angeles Times. As previously reported, Ari Millen is set to star in “Orphan Black” Season 4.
BBC America renewed “Orphan Black” for Season 4 in May. The new season is expected to premiere sometime in April 2016.
