Paul Walker’s Daughter Meadow Walker Proud Of ‘Furious 7’: 'You Guys Did Right By My Father'
After one and half years, Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Walker is out of the public as she her father’s screen legacy in the recent “Furious 7” premiere. In a recent interview with Walker’s co-star Tyrese Gibson, the actor revealed that the late actor’s daughter had nothing but love after she saw her father’s last movie.
“She said we checked all the boxes,” Gibson told People at the premiere of “Brotherly Love” in Los Angeles on Monday night, April 13. “She was very proud of the way we went about closing out this chapter. She was all smiles, she didn't have any complaints," Gibson noted, "and she said, 'You guys did right by my father.' "
Meadow Walker bonded with Paul’s co-stars and even shared a touching photograph of herself with “Furious 7” cast during what appears to be an after-party for the movie’s premiere. The photo was posted in Instagram enjoying the company of Vin Diesel and Elsa Pataky, who both flashed peace signs.
Gibson also told during an interview with the publication that she is in a “great space” and really focused on her education. Currently spending some quality time with her friends and family, the teenager is moving on from losing a father but hasn’t shied away from remembering the actor on social media.
She posted a throwback photo on Instagram on Walker’s death anniversary, a sweet snap of her father holding her in his lap. She simply captioned the photo “I love you.” She followed her throwback post after “Furious 7” trailer was aired during the Super Bowl and posted a photo of her childhood with her father smiling while she is sticking her tongue out at him.
Meadow was only 15 when her father died in a fatal car accident in December 2013, Walker died at the age of 40. After the actor’s death, his two brothers, Cody and Caleb, stepped in for the actor as they continue his legacy. Gibson and the rest of the cast dedicated the success of the movie to the late actor as he considered it as “the most beautiful sending off you’ll ever see.”
