If you haven't been paying too close attention to Plants vs. Zombies official Twitter, you will be happy to know that the Plants vs. Zombies 2 sequel game will be made available on the App Store starting Friday, August 16.

Or in the words of the developers on this Vine clip: It's about time!

On the App Store's official Facebook page, it teased, "It's about time. Guess what game is coming tomorrow?" Though everyone knows just what game that is.

Before catching the game when it launches tomorrow, here is the final episode of the Plants vs. Zombies developer diaries. This time focusing on the creation of the zombies that can be found in the game.

"From a design perspective, they really come from a pure mechanical sense," said Allen Murray, senior producer. "What's gonna actually make sense for the player? What's gonna be a well-balanced experience? And then, in parallel we're just thinking about, what will be the silliest, goofiest, funniest thing we can do, and let's do that, too."

In fact, one of the silliest zombies that would be coming in as a new addition to the cast is the Chicken zombie, which takes inspiration from a childhood story of Andy Seavy, the senior game designer,

The developers' process of creating new zombies seems to be more on the fun side of things, taking together both the insane ideas that they can come up with and translating it into something that would serve as a great experience to gamers.
