Plants vs Zombies 2, Peggle 2 & Candy Crush Saga Have Something New for Gamers
The E3 2013 was more than just console gaming, as it also announced a much-awaited sequel to a franchise from PopCap Games.
Peggle fans can now look forward to a sequel, which is now set for release this year. However, those present at the event were not treated to any footages or images, or basically any details other than the fact that the co-founder of PopCap Games John Vechey making the announcement, according to Touch Arcade.
It seems like a less than stellar way to announce a great game--and at the E3 2013, no less--but it may be that PopCap was more interested or geared towards making the announcement on the second, much more awaited sequel game.
Plants vs. Zombies 2 and Garden Warfare
And the hype continues, not just for the sequel to PopCap's influential game Plants vs. Zombies, but also for the other PvZ game, Garden Warfare.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a spin-off and does not, in any way, take away from the sequel that's scheduled to launch exclusively for iOS devices come July.
What makes Garden Warfare exciting is that it features plants heavily armed and ready for battle, not unlike serious shooter games. PopHerald's report also confirmed that the gameplay will be multiplayer, with units and teams having a unique arsenal of weapons based on plants.
Joytiq adds that, just like the Plants vs. Zombies 2 will be exclusive to the iOS, Garden Warfare will be exclusive to the Xbox One and the Xbox 360. But given the recent development in terms of console appreciation and ranking, EA may surprise future next generation gamers with a PS4 release.

No more ads when you play Candy Crush Saga
With more than 15.5 million players daily for Candy Crush Saga alone and in-app purchases being made left and right, it's no wonder that developer King games may be readying to make a bold move.
According to VG 24/7, players may be looking at an ad-free gaming for uninterrupted gaming time if an internal document is to be believed.
"King's #1 focus around delivering an uninterrupted entertainment experience for our network of loyal players across web, tablet, and mobile has unfortunately led to the difficult decision of removing advertising as a core element of King's overall strategy."
What this means for Candy Crush Saga is that there will no longer be advertising elements within the game. What's more, it doesn't seem to stop with Candy Crush Saga, as the announcement may include all King developed games worldwide. So far, there haven't been any official announcements made on this decision.
Design & Trend reports that Candy Crush Saga may be at the height of its popularity, but it doesn't seem to be on the fade anytime soon, considering that it has already been in the market for more than half a year, without an end in sight for the gaming levels.
