Pokemon X and Y: New Instacheck Predicts Battle Moves and Stats; 2 Special Pokemons in 2014 [VIDEO]
What started out as a new Pokemon X and Y way to find out your Pokemons overall stats, Shiny Value, Egg Shiny Value, IVs, Evs, and more, has now evolved into a hacker software that has almost unbelievable features.
Tracing back to discussions on GameFAQs where it was first brought up, the evolved hacker Instacheck for Pokemon X and Y has supposedly now evolved into a hacker system that intercepts signals in the same way that Instacheck does--but this time for battles.

The short bit of the Pokemon X and Y hack is explained by airshipff in GameFAQs, "This lets you see the entire team of your opponent, their IV's, EV's, and their movesets. It also gives you an uncanny ability to see what move your opponent chooses to do that round. So... Anyone else other than me hoping that Gamefreak can patch the game to encrypt the signal?"
According to Reddit, the download link has been deleted in the original forums thread, so technically, there's no proof as of now of the existence of the evolved Instacheck. However, one Redditor, pjplatypus, claims to have found the Pokemon X and Y hack, run it, and take a screenshot to confirm that the software can send moves of opponents before you can make your own selection.
Experiencing a smoking Xbox One? Microsoft has finally given an official statement about the issue.
Another redditor posted a video, seen below, which demonstrates how you can see the opponent's Pokemon and chosen ability. Redditors are reacting to the new Instacheck--some are pissed, while others are still hopeful of the outcome, considering your next online Pokemon X and Y battle.
"Doesn't this ruin the point of the game? Why would you want to win by knowing what your opponent is doing?" said pieman2005.
"It's one thing to use it for the Shiny exploit (which I find annoying, personally), but it's another to know your opponent's status and movesets ahead of time. That's just unsportsman-like," said gentlegreengiant.
"I gave it a run just to see what it could do in an unrated random battle, and my God this thing breaks online game play. I'm ok with hacking LEGIT Pokemon onto the game. I understand people have busy lives and don't have time to IV train for a certain hidden power type, but this is a whole different beast," said B_Wong. In his experience, he claimed to have seen the opponent's choice of Pokemon, its leading Pokemon, all the IVs and EVs, move sets, and nature and abilities.
This is what you can do with your PS4 games: Read the full story here.
In addition, the game hack supposedly correctly predicted the move that the opponent was going to use, as well as the power/type/accuracy of the move in the Pokemon X and Y battle.
"I am not going to blame any of my losses on this but if that one guy was using this I am so less impressed by his ability to sweep me that hard core. The fact that it is possibly out there sucks, but does not mean that it is a win card. A good team can still be effective to someone who knows everything you are going to do," said Prof_Maple.
What do you think of this new development with Pokemon X and Y? Sounds like a threat or a slight hiccup?

Though no starting date for the selling of the new Pokemon X and Y copies was announced, Serebii mentioned that the promo will last until June 30, 2014.
Also coming in 2014 is the second season for Pokemon X and Y Free & Rating battle, which will start in January.
