[UPDATE: Easy tips on how to create your winning Pokemon X and Y team. Read more here.]

Recently, one Redditor, dekuNukem has amazed the Pokemon X and Y community when he showcased his own Fully Automatic Shiny Pokemon Catcher, complete with a detailed enough YouTube video for you to make your own version at home.

With only the use of some ingeniously simple materials with a few coding genius, he was able to create a method that triggers an alarm when a Shiny Pokemon is within reach.

This time, Redditor dekuNukem has created an updated version of the Shiny Finder for Pokemon X and Y, this time one that works on Friend Safari and has Auto-Catch, Mode Select, and more.

"Now it can autonomously find and capture any type of shiny Pokemon while fishing, walking in grass (Friend Safari included), or surfing. Human input is only needed after a configurable number of catch attempts has failed, otherwise, it is capable of going on forever," he said in his official YouTube page.

Redditors have appreciated the efforts and admired the capabilities of dekuNukem, while others still opt to go old school on the game.

"This is seriously cool. I wish my electronics knowledge was up to par," said alyak72.

"Thanks for [providing] the source and everything. This is a really cool project, and I'm glad you're getting as much exposure as you are," said Caspus.

"The thing is cool for sure. But I'd rather play the game myself," said joesaysso.

And already, some are suggesting that he create some other projects related to the Pokemon X and Y game. "I think your next project should be an auto egg getter and hatcher. You'd have it set to accept an egg and then walk the steps (which you could program in a set amount of steps)," said Apoc_ellipsis.

Gotta hear 'em all: The Pokemon X and Y soundtrack

If you think you can only collect Pokemon in the Pokemon X and Y game, there's actually another set that you can collect, and it comes in the form of over 200 soundtracks for the game.

Geek reports that the 212 tracks can easily be obtained for only $10 at iTunes. Of course, these aren't full-fledged songs that span the usual length of a track. If anything, some are background tunes that are reminiscent of some parts of the games, which you can use as ring tones or pop them in your sound pods when you're feeling lonely during that long commute away from your Pokemon X and Y on the 3DS.

Kotaku adds that the 212 tracks is a mix of songs from Pokemon X and Y, as well as five bonus tracks from Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue.

This is said to be the first Pokemon soundtrack to debut in iTunes, but plans of releasing the soundtracks for past Pokemon games are being drafted.

Pokemon X and Y movie coming in 2014

If the Pokemon X and Y soundtrack is not enough of a pastime beyond the actual game, there's also a Pokemon X and Y movie that's slated to come out in 2014.

Videogames Uncovered reportedly found the announcement via the official Pokemon Movie website, which now includes a video trailer of the movie. Here, you can see the three starters, Fennekin, Chespin, and Froakie with their signature movies as well as the two legendary Pokemons in Pokemon X and Y.
