The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine, who is due to give birth in April, “sometimes forgets” she is pregnant. Catherine or Kate Middleton, who is in her eight month of second pregnancy, made a public appearance at Turner Contemporary Art Museum and Resort Studios in Kent, England on Wednesday. The Duchess looked stunning in a monochrome animal print coat and a high ponytail.

According to US Magazine, a Margate resident that goes by the name Jenny Cranstone, told Middleton that she looked slimmer for a woman who was in the third trimester of pregnancy. “I sometimes forget I’m pregnant,” replied the Duchess, according to the website. The 33-year-old royal also talked about how she has to “chase” after her son Prince George. The 19-month-old baby George runs around the house, added the Duchess.

During her visit to the art gallery, the Duchess was not only impressed with artist Gavin Turk’s work but also talked to him about his long beard. “She immediately asked me about my beard and said that she was a bit concerned as her brother [James Middleton] was growing one,” Turk is quoted as saying about his conversation to Middleton, according to US Magazine “She asked me how much care I needed to take of it and whether I had to oil it,” he added. Turk said the Duchess was “really nice and very personable” to him and seemed “fascinated” by his facial hair.

Middleton's Wednesday visit was a part of her work with the National Portrait Gallery. The Duchess, who boasts of a degree in History of Art, is a patron for the gallery since last two years. She was quite shocked to see a particular sculpture by a local artist Jeremy Millar. Millar's sculpture was that of a dead body lying face down and looked quite real and was named “Self Portrait As A Drowned Man,” according to the website.

For her Wednesday visit, the Duchess recycled a black and white coat in animal print by one of her favourite High Street brands, Hobbs. She wore the U.S. $250 coat for the christening of the Royal Princess cruise ship in 2013. The Duchess was then pregnant with her first baby, Prince George.
