There are just a few days before the PS4 launch in the UK and Australia, but it seems that announcements are coming out in time to prepare gamers for what's to come.

Given that the PS4 has been both well-received in the U.S., as well as received with some frustrations, Sony may be tempering the expectations and showing more of its cards this time around.

To begin with, the prices of PS4 games have been revealed for the launch, with a total of thirteen retail and five digital games in line for the launch.

CVG obtained the full list of prices, which can be seen below, but what is noticeable is that the list is still very much incomplete. Some titles still need to get their pricing up in the PlayStation Store for it to be official. The report points out an interesting fact, particularly in the way that EA games are more expensive by £8 compared to their Xbox One counterpart.

The PS4 and PS Vita bundle priced by UK retailers

Sony has already confirmed that the PS4 and PS Vita will come during the holidays, though there were no details for the price or actual release date.

But it seems that UK retailers are taking matters in their own hands and putting a price to the PS4 and PS Vita Ultimate bundle, perhaps in order to start taking preorders.

According to GeekGamerz, the PS4 bundle will be available for £599.96 at GAME UK. The bundle will include the PS4 console, a 14-day trial for the PS Plus, two PS4 games namely Knack and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, two PS Vita games Tearaway and Little Big Planet, the PS Vita wi-fi version, and a 16GB memory card for the PS Vita.

This isn't such a bad deal, mostly because there are quite a number of freebies and included items in the PS4 and PS Vita Ultimate Bundle. If you're looking to get it somewhere else, best to wait for Sony to officially announce the pricing.

Speaking of priced PS4-related content, Going Sony has found a good deal for those who want to get a pretty sweet deal for the PS Plus. A 12-month subscription code is being sold at $39.99, which is a complete $10 below the actual selling price.

But the catch here is that you need to have an email address that is not Microsoft. Check out the link above for the complete details on what to do to avail of the PS Plus subscription.

Expect the PlayStation App at launch in Australia

Unlike during the PS4 launch in North America, where the PlayStation app has been available even before the eve of the launch, this time, Australian gamers will have to wait out until the actual PS4 launch day in order to download the app.

This means that the November 29 release date will consist of downloading the app and the update, as well as checking if there are a number of problems that their PS4 consoles may have.

The Xbox One is not without its problems, too: Read here for the top 5 problems gamers encounter when using the Xbox One console.

"We're still making some final tweaks to ensure the experience is butter-smooth for you ahead of the PS4 launch next Friday," said Sony's official statement as quoted by AusGamers.

The PlayStation App is fairly useful for those who are very connected to their PS4 consoles or require the second screen functions and keyboard for the PS4 using mobile devices.
