Minecraft is expanding as a franchise and it seems to be coinciding with the release of the next-gen consoles.

Recently, it was reported that Minecraft is slowly making its way to the PS3 platform, which will mean that it will be playable by PS3 owners before it hits the PS4. Now, word from developer 4J Studios has stated that they are now doing some work for Minecraft Xbox 360.

"We're working on ways to move Xbox 360 saves to Xbox One with Microsoft. Can't say it'll be there until it's 100% working," said 4J Studios in the official Twitter.

This has been a question plaguing those who have been hard at work and play with the Minecraft Xbox 360. Many have been worried that they will be starting from scratch again once the Xbox One version has been transferred.

Of course, the work still needs to be polished, and 4J Studios even admitted that nothing is sure yet until they are able to release the finished product. But here's to hoping that the option of save transfers to Minecraft Xbox One will be possible.
