PS4 Companion PS Vita: 5 Expected Games Include 'Injustice: Gods Among Us,' 'Fez' and More
Whoever said the PS Vita is beyond saving? If anything, what Sony seems to be touting nowadays as the PS4's ultimate gaming companion is looking at the dawn of not only remote play with next-gen but also a load of game releases.
Check out these five upcoming games that you can expect to hit the PS Vita this year or early 2014.
"Injustice: Gods Among Us"
Probably one of the most awaited games that is now finally coming out for the PS Vita is NetherRealm Studios' hit "Injustice: Gods Among Us," the fighting game that pits DC heroes and villains alike.
PlayStation Lifestyle reports that "INJUSTICE" may not just be rolling out for the PS Vita but also the PC and next-gen PS4 and Xbox One.
This is certainly great news, even though no official confirmation has been announced-the story is based only on the Brazilian Ratings Board of the game. Speculations have pointed to a November release date, but the Game of the Year Edition may seem like an inviting copy for those who have yet to place their purchases.
"Furmins"
This Oct., Housemarque will be releasing its puzzle game "Furmins" to the PS Vita, which had originally been an iOS-exclusive game.
The PS Vita version will take you through over 100 levels of gameplay and test your precision and coordination skills. "Furmins" will have HD graphics highlighted by the rear touch pad controls, multiple solutions, and the physics-based action, reports Gamasutra.
Since it will be coming to the PlayStation platform, you can get 12 PSN trophies for outstanding performance.
"Worms Revolution Extreme"
Another Oct. debutant for the PS Vita is "Worms Revolution Extreme." You can get this strategy game for $14.999 in the U.S. in Oct. 8 and for €14.9 in Europe in Oct. 9.
According to VG 24/7, it has both the local and online multiplayer battles, as well as the single-player campaign that gives you 72 levels in seven settings.
What's more, you can conduct cross-saving for the game, so if you want to continue the game from your Vita to your PS3, this is now possible.
"Warriors Orochi 2 Ultimate"
The gameplay for the upcoming "Warriors Orochi 2 Ultimate" has finally been shown thorough a trailer for its PS Vita version.
While the PS3 and PS Vita version was released in Japan in Sept. 26, the release date for North America has not yet been announced, though it will be coming, considering the success of the game.
Comparing the previous installment, Polygon reports that Warriors Orochi 2 Ultimate will pack in more story and gameplay into the mix, with more modes and content thrown in.
"Fez"
Even though the sequel to "Fez" has been cancelled in late July, this does not mean the end of the run for the original game.
It was confirmed at Gamescom last Aug. that Fez will be coming to three more platforms, though the release date has not yet been announced.
"People, I'm thrilled to announce that #FEZ is coming to PS Vita, PS3 & PS4," said MC Bourdua, the producer for Polytron, in a tweet.
