Aside from the 33 titles that were reported to be debuting on Day One of the PS4's launch date, Sony has upped the ante in terms of the number of games that will be made available for the PS4 as well as the PS Vita, the supposed best PS4 gaming companion once it releases this November.

Joystiq reports a number of games that will be coming to both the PS4 and the PS Vita, among which includes Volume, a stealth-based game from creator Mike Bithell, responsible for the hit Thomas Was Alone game. The game combines building terrain ala Minecraft while also allowing you to explore your creation and indulge your knack for thieving.

Wasteland Kings is also headed to the PS4 and PS Vita, a game that has been developed by Vlambeer, responsible for the hit Ridiculous Fishing, though you will have to wait for next year for this game.

Coming in 2014, there is also Rogue Legacy, an exclusive game for the PS4 and PS Vita. For the PS4, a number of games are also coming such as Everybody's Gone to the Rapture from developer of Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, and N++, which comes to the platform as early as winter this year.

Ramping up on remote play

For Sony, the PS4's excitement doesn't seem to be complete unless the PS Vita is sharing in the limelight, and it once again demonstrated Remote Play with one of the launch titles, Assassin's Creed 4.

At the event, the remote play was reportedly very smooth, which is great for those who are thinking of turning the PS Vita into a device worthy of serious gaming beyond the living room.

And VG 24/7 adds that Assassin's Creed 4 will also feature a number of PS3 and PS4 exclusives.

DualShock 4 to come in 3 pretty colors

Speaking of accessories to the PS4, Sony has also announced that its DualShock 4 controllers will now come in two more color Magma Red and Wave Blue, both available at $60 according to Engadget.

Since the availability of the colored controllers are pegged at November 29 for Europe and "later this year" for North America, it may be safe to assume that these variants will be available for separate purchase, and will not be available for inclusion in the PS4 bundle.

And given that November 29 is the PS4 launch date for Europe, it may be said that the controllers will be available in the U.S. come PS4 launch date.

Play Minecraft on the PlayStation--yes all three devices

For a long time, Microsoft has enjoyed the popularity of Mojang's Minecraft exclusively for its Xbox 360 in terms of the console department. But this is about to change once the PS4 becomes available this November.

According to various reports, the Minecraft franchise is finally hitting the PS4, and it will even be a launch title for the console. And as though that's not enough, the building game will also find its way PS3 and PS Vita, as now announced by developer Markus Persson on his official Twitter page.

Those who have long wanted this all-blocks game to be on the Sony devices can now rejoice. The launch date for the PS3 and PS Vita has not yet been revealed, but it is highly likely that it won't be too far from the release date on the PS4.
